I was indeed glued to my seat as I sat there, watching the credits roll. I couldn’t quite comprehend the emotion I felt. What I just saw was so incredible to think about, so foreign, yet familiar. We have all heard theories about the end of the world, seen millions of movies about it happening, sure. So have I. But nothing felt as real as this. As touching. This was the foreign feeling, because it actually brought consolation, a kind of faith in the future, not anxiety and controversial arguments. Faith. Definitely, it was taught in this movie.
It taught about how much parents love their children. And always will. Even if they have to sacrifice their presence for their children’s happiness. I don’t think my parents, my dear mom and dad, who might as well be reading this, would ever let me go.

With rain, doom falls upon Earth.
All it takes is a moment. A moment during which every heart in the theater skipped a beat. And started beating again in a way that wasn’t ever quite the same. For what you are about to experience in this chilling sci-fi thriller isn’t simply an outstanding, emotional (and rather scary) performance by Nicholas Cage, but a sensation of shiver down your spine. Even long after you have watched the movie, when thinking about it, you will shiver. And most likely you won’t forget the time when you have jumped out of your seat, and then ran out of the theater as one of my friends did because one can intake only so much horror… okay, okay. That’s not why they left. It’s just that some scenes are especially disturbing and intense in terms of catastrophe and violence level. But that’s nothing. What really matters is the moral of this movie’s storyline. The love in Nicholas Cage’s eyes. I guess (if you can really imagine that, you gotta be into movies..). What can I say? It is WORTH it. It is worth your what, 10 bucks, for an extraordinary experience of a nightmare that has taken hold of the entire purpose of life. What can be more important than THAT?
That’s right, this movie deserves a 4.5/5 star rating!
